Nokia N96 became one of the most popular Nokia N-series phone. So they decided to create special new serie. Nokia N96 Quartz- phone will be released in O2 network, only in UK. Whats the different between this and simple N96? It’s only in the exterior aspect of the latter, as its name clearly indicates the color of the exterior casing. But don’t be afraid! All older functions there are well. Nokia says: “This phone will be popular by designers and fashion’s peoples”.
And it looks that this firmware made things worse. There is problems with sound (vocal minorities). However Nokia know about their mistake and I think this update will be not long on the Internet. I believe that this update will be changed with other one, but which will be working good. So wait, wait and wait…

The ultimate handset - Nokia N96 is now available in demo version in official Nokia’s website. Finnish giant thought that N-series fans wish to try N96 and they just can’t wait until release date. Nokia announced that it should be somewhere in third quarter of the year, about July-September. But everyone hope that N96 should hit the markets somewhere in August. Even some online retailers like Carphone Warehouse list August as the most possible date of release for this ultimate handset.

What you can do with demo version of N96 ? Answer is one - everything. You can start from mini-guide how to put in you SIM cars or how to use keyboard of the handset and go to Web-browsing, USB or BLUETOOTH connections using explanations.

After successful N95 and N95 8GB emission, Nokia hit markets with N96 - ultimate handset, which is better in all components. Handset also comes with the same dual-slider design.

Take a look at function of device: N96 offer an internal memory of 16GB, which is absolutely most interior memory having phone in the history. Also users can extend memory of the phone by adding a microSD or a microSDHC cards, which can help you to get memory up to 24GB. The new Nseries phone runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition ( if talking exactly - 3.2). Moreover, device offer us a brilliant 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, flash and video recording (30fps in VGA mode), a 2.8 inch diagnol TFT display screen with more than 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, GPS, Wi-Fi, Nokia Maps, accelerometer, quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA connectivities are not seperate functions of this device. Also, N96 integrates full HTM browser, DVB-H TV tuner, TV out, Music and Video players, a 3.5mm headset jack and so on.

Retail expect that price of the device should be around 550 Euros (870 USD), but also they hope that price will fall fast as well.

You are able to try N96 too ! Go and feel the magic of ultimate N-series device.

I guess Nokia phones are most cloned devices ever. Irony is there, that Nokia do not even released N96, but someone already done it for Nokia. Of course it is jokes, but it’s a reality too.

The identical N96 comes from China. It’s really no surprise here, because China like to clone phones one by one. They offer this handset only for 249$ for those who are intrested in this.

Chinese presented this device as a “best mobile phone released out there”. Also, producer of the phone said that is a “fashionable PDA“, but I guess it will be a surprise then producers will get to know that N96 is not a PDA.

If we take a look what this clone is offering for us, we’ll realize that is far from the real N96, which should hit the markets in August. Clone include: tri-band GSM connectivity, a 3.0 inch diagnol screen with 262K colors and a 320 x 240 pixel resolution and I can say that this is very far from the real N96 functions. Stereo Bluetooth, dual 3D speakers, FM radio, embedded games is also integrated in N96-like device. 2 Mega pixels camera with flash and video recording make us to laugh if we’ll take a look at real N96, which is offering 6 Mega pixels. Moreover, clone support these languages: Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and so on…

Limited tri-band GSM connectivity do not allow to use this device in North America, so I guess there are no people, who wish to get this clone.

By the recent rumors Nokia N96 could come with a photo camera that features Xenon flash, instead of LED flash, as initially announced by the Finnish company. Some of people says that they have information by which they can prove that Nokia representative confirmed the “Xenonized” N96. Also they spread photos in which we can see that N96 really uses Xenon flash, but these photo might be made with PhotoShop, so we can’t decide is it true or not until Nokia will confirm this information official.

After all, adding Xenon flash to the new N series devices will only make N series better phones. Xenon flash technology is really impressive to compare with LED flash. Which is better we can see in photos quality. There is another phone in N series, which includes Xenon technology(N82), so it is really possible that we’ll see N96 with Xenon.

It might be possible that Nokia will publish 2 versions of N96. One with Xenon technology and one without it. Nokia should cost about 550 Euros on the markets.

I must mention that Nokia have the great cost not by an accident, 16GB interior memory, 2.8 inches TFT display with 16 millions colors, 5 Mega Pixels camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Wi-Fi, GPS, GSM, HSDPA connections, DVB-H TV broadcast receiver and rumored Xenon flash feature make this price not so big for Nokia N96.

Newest Nokia N-series product - Nokia N96. Don’t laugh if you hear that someone calls it “TV” or “Computer”. This device really is like that.

I guess this device do not impress you in first-look if you saw N95 8GB, but 16GB(!) interior memory and huge 2,8, screen size will change your opinion. Features that including being the support to MPEG-4, WMV and FLV, the USB connection 2,0 high-levels and the WLAN support and HSDPA.
Receiver DVB-H that was integrated (especially in several countries) offered the presentation of the direct TV with programs that tar-update automatically.

That’s not everything, if you somehow fill all 16GB of interior memory, you can add 8GB MicroSD card in your device.

We can talk much about N96 but in fact he do not have much differences to compare with N95. Of course if we ignore fact listed above. However, fact still fact - at the moment, Nokia N96 is the best N-series phone.
