Another one of the terminals presented/displayed in the Go Play de Nokia this morning has been the Nokia N81 in two versions, which are different by the detail from which one, N81 8GB comes with mentioned gigas of memory.

One Nokia week ago confirmed the existence of the successor in Nokia N80: N81. Only thin returned 3D give us an outline of the N Series. A first photograph has just made its appearance with two N81: one of face and one of back.

While there aren’t any official snapshots of the Nokia N81 multimedia phone floating around the Internet, at least we have renderings to drool over. This phone will definitely be more advanced than the 3G-enabled N80, featuring a stylish black finish (read: fingerprint magnet), 8GB worth of storage space, dedicated music buttons, a 2 megapixel camera, and HSDPA connectivity, although you also have to option to surf via EDGE. WiFi hotspots are the N81’s best friend thanks to its built-in wireless chip, while Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support works great to listen to your favorite tunes wirelessly. No word on how much it will cost though, but the N81 should see action by the last quarter of this year.

That Nokia N81 that was a hot rumor is now a reality, with specs being released for all to see.

For starters, it has 8GB of memory, which is a bit mind-blowing for a device that small. It’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-friendly, and its talk and surf capabilities incorporate 3G, EDGE, and HSDPA.

The N81 has two cameras, one 2-megapixel and the other CIF. It has a music player, which can play up to 12.5 hours before the battery dies. It has dedicated music and gaming keys, which suggests one-touch. It also has a navigation wheel.

If you think this sounds a lot like a slider version of the N91, you’re probably right. But it’s another new Nokia advancement, which is always good for a bout of excitement around the globe.
