  • The Nokia N82 awarded by the association TIPA

    Nokia announced  that its mobile multimedia computer Nokia N82
    was voted “Best camera mobile in Europe for the year 2008″ by TIPA
    (Technical Image Press Association), the largest news agency that
    specializes in the photo and Videos in Europe.

    Taking advantage of its A-GPS integrated and its high-resolution
    camera, the Nokia N82 reference photos automatically with metadata to
    see the place where the shot on a map either on the device itself or on
    the Internet.  To share their photos and videos,
    users can load them directly from their Nokia N82 to services such as
    Share on Ovi, Flickr or YouTube.

    The Nokia N82 includes the following characteristics:

    • 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and xenon flash
    • Georeferencing
    • Ability to take pictures ready to win and record DVD-quality videos
    • wireless LAN connectivity and HSDPA offering fast download speeds
    • A-GPS and integrated access to maps of more than 100 countries

     The Nokia N82 supports microSD memory cards up to 8 GB,
    allowing the aircraft to store up to 3 600 high-resolution images, 5
    hours of high quality video, up to 6 000 music titles or all regions
    available for Nokia Maps.

     Created in 1991, TIPA is an independent non-profit gathering magazines specializing in the image and photo in Europe. So far, the TIPA comprises 31 magazines partners from twelve countries.


  • The tablet Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition made its appearance on the Web

    Nokia N810 WimaxThe official announcement is expected to take place in a few hours at
    the CTIA show in the USA, but our friends at Nokia have not stood
    uploading information on the new Internet Tablet N810 WiMAX Edition.
    Incorrectement called N830, this version of the N810 supports very
    high-speed WiMAX and was unveiled in the catalogue of American retailer
    Best Buy last February.

    The deployment of WiMAX in France is
    still very limited, but there are a few offers mainly through the
    company Altitude Telecom.
